Saint-Petersburg Aiki Shuren Dojo Club was founded in 2004.

We practice Takemusu Aiki (Iwama Ryu Aikido) style.

The main supervisor Takemusu Aiki in Russia is Ulf Evenas, 7th  dan Aikido Iwama Ryu, 6th dan Aikido Aikikai, 5th dan Bukiwza.

The founder and instructor of the club is Viсtor Kazarin, 4-rd dan  Aikido (certificate).

He began practice Aikido in Saint-Petersburg Aikido Club "Takemusu Aiki" in 1993, under supervision of instructors Yakimov Oleg, Davidov Yuri, Tyan Alexander.

Since 1996 he has become an instructor himself, perform kids training, since 2002 he has taught weapon classes. In the fall of 2004, after the club had lost it's permanent training base, he made a decision to found a new club in Saint-Petersburg.

Victor Kazarin participated in more that 15 international seminars and camps under Ulf Evenas supervision. He also participated in uchideshi program with Ulf Evenas. He took his part in summer camps and seminars under Ethan Monnot Weisgard management.

At the moment (the year of 2007) there are more than 30 people in the club. One of the students has 3rd dan, two students have 2st dan and one has 1st dan.
